Joint Marketing

We believe that collectors are more likely to undertake a visit if there are multiple reasons to travel.
Let’s jointly advertise, especially if linked to broader regional attractions! Likewise, we are happy to consider joining together for a larger book seller presence at community festivals, ‘Friends of the Library’ sales and book fairs.

Cross-linking on sites

Books & Fields is happy to feature other book shops on its site under the banner ‘Used Book Trail’ in our Attractions section. We are ready to consider more prominent visibility if a number of dealers will join in a mutual effort. The only condition is reciprocity where B&F receives equal prominence on your site.

Joint presence at large scale attractions

B&F will happily cooperate with other dealers to create a dealers row or dealers cluster at community events in the region. Event organizers are often looking to include cultural content at their events and will welcome a larger presence that in turn will draw more eyes to each of us. In addition, specialty book events like library sales and book fairs will be a good place to present our cooperative brand.

Cooperative marketing of stock

Pooling our efforts in outreach to higher end buyers can be a great idea, especially when our rare and antiquarian books are complementary and create a more attractive catalog.

Co-Branding/A Book Trail

Let’s become more visible by creating a group identify of locally based book dealers. Let our customers know that our region has many great dealers. Let’s guide them to each other’s sites and stores along a Book Trail.

Outlets for this approach would be regional tourism guides and web sites. We can also think of collective social media ads that would respond to search queries.
